Needless to say this will probably take us a year from which to recover.

'Mixed Media Quilts' is a great review of a show in Guilford, Connecticut that I'm in right now. I love what Judy Birke said about my work..."A couple of whimsical pieces catch one’s attention. The July issue of Springfield Magazine just came out with Russ and me on the cover. Weird coincidence, the article describes our unusual wedding and how we first met—and the magazine hit the stands yesterday on our 15th anniversary. That's the crystal one, Russ tells me, so he gave me a nice watch.

Earlier this week Sculptor Sam and his wife Mandy visited us as they drive cross-country on the Dream Sculpture Tour. Sam's a thoughtful guy and his photos and insightful comments regarding contemporary sculpture are a delight to read.
